Ponta dos Ganchos Resort in Brazil

Located on a private peninsula on Brazil’s south coast, Ponta dos Ganchos is one of the country’s most exclusive beach resorts and the perfect honeymoon hotel. A restaurant is ten feet away from the beach, but you can also paddle across to one of the islands and find a bar that’s illuminated by torches at night. You are in the middle of nowhere here, and Ponta dos Ganchos is the real deal as it has peaceful landscapes of emerald sea and forest, beautiful interiors in 20 beautiful Bungalows (some have private plunge pools and saunas) and a amazing service which includes all meals that are served at any hour of the day, but no one under the age of 18 is allowed at the resort. There are twenty Bungalows scattered over the side of the hill, all with imperious views of Ganchos Bay and the Emerald Coast. There are four different types of Bungalows. The smaller Luxo rooms are enormous and come with an open fire in the sitting room, walk-in wardrobes, excellent bathrooms with showers (but no bathtub) and walls of glass that open onto huge decked balconies, all of which look out to sea. In the Super Luxo rooms you also have a sauna and a Jacuzzi out on the balcony. Villas and Special Villas also get small private sea-water pools and gardens as well as two showers and Jacuzzi. There is an indoor pool included in the resort as well as a tennis court, gym and even a private cinema. Snorkeling, diving (including tuition), canoeing, sailing and boat trips are also on offer as their popular activities.
